The Church of God in Brantford
meeting at Fairview Gospel Hall
At Fairview Gospel Hall, we are one local community among a larger united worldwide church Fellowship community of baptized believers, the Churches of God in the Fellowship of God’s Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9)
After his resurrection, the Lord Jesus began to show to his apostles a new way to worship and live as a united community of baptized believers. As a local community of such believers in Brantford, we seek to follow the same pattern Jesus initiated and the apostles reinforced. The same pattern Jesus spoke of and the apostles communicated gives us guidance how we worship, how we interact with our local community and our responsibilities as part of our worldwide church Fellowship community.
A summary of our basic beliefs, as well as some more detail behind them can be found here on our worldwide Churches of God website.
The Bible tells obedient disciples in churches to pray together regularly (Acts 2:42) which is why we come together on a Wednesday evening for Prayer Time.
It’s an opportunity for church members to pray to God about things that matter to us, our community and beyond and to praise Him for answered prayer and His goodness.
Our weekly Remembrance (Communion) service: Breaking of Bread, Prayers (Acts 2:42) and a message at Fairview Gospel Hall.
Our Bible Teaching takes different formats each Sunday during the month. Check the Services page for details.
